Shim Shower Door

Not all gaps under the shower door are the same.

Remove the screws from the hinge you need to shim using a screwdriver or a drill and screwdriver bit. Standard length 2 and 1 4 wide 6 of the 1 32 thick shims 4 of the 1 4 thick shims. Our ds99 comes in many sizes and are stackable. Slip a 1 16 in thick cardboard shim strip behind each hinge photos with steps 1 and 2 below.

Hopefully this shim will be enough to make the latch solid. Some may angle one way or another. Short of a great shim. Using the clear shims will angle the shower door sweep to follow the angle of gap.
