Open the door with the remote a third time.
Sienna sliding door button not working.
I am having problems with opening the door when i try to open with the outside handle.
I feel that my car s symptoms are quite opposite of what s described.
The sliding door behind the driver s door does not open with remote button or the switch inside the car.
When your sienna side door won t close one possibility is a circuit overload.
Once the third cycle completes the power door battery is reset.
The right sliding door push button switch will not work to open the door all other switches work fine remote overhead push button etc after the door is open the inside push button works fine to close the door or partially open or close it also the courtesy light at that door doesn t light and when testing for voltage at the plug none is there.
Press the open button on the remote key fob to open the sliding doors.
The electric motor s circuit will become overloaded and this will trip the fuse and prevent the door from being closed entirely.
I have a 2010 sienna and its sienna sliding doors seem to open very well with the indoor door open button.

Can only open manually now.
The door is supposed to unlatch first before it triggers the motor to pull it open.
Wait 10 seconds then open the door with the remote again.
Here s what i want you to do turn the main button for the power sliding switch off then place the van in park disconnect the battery for 5 minutes then reconnect it turn the switch to the on position then turn the power sliding door main switch on and wait for 10 seconds then press one of the buttons to open the passenger sliding door and wait until it opens if it does then once it s opened all the way let it sit there for at least 3 seconds then close it with the button and once it.
The sliding door latch is not working see the picture of the latch unit.
Close the door and wait 10 seconds.
This happens when the power sliding door isn t able to latch on properly due to something blocking it.
